公正証書遺言の検索

自筆証書遺言を書かれた場合、

それが相続人（の全て）に明らかにされる可能性は１００％とは言えません。

誰も知らなかった、見つけられなかった、一部の相続人しか知らなかった、という事態も起こり得ます。

紛失、滅失してしまうこともあるかもしれません。

公正証書遺言も誰にも告げずに作成された場合、

誰にもわからないかもしれませんが、

相続開始後であれば公正証書遺言を検索することは可能です。（生前はできません。）

公正証書遺言は公証役場にデータが保存されます。

平成元年以降に作成された公正証書遺言については全国の公証役場で検索が可能。

それ以前についてはその作成された公証役場で検索が可能です。

相続人が請求するのであれば、相続を証明する書類や身分証明書、認印などが必要です。

手続き自体はいたって簡単。検索自体は費用もかかりません。

おおよそその日のうちに、その場で結果が出るようです。

閲覧も謄本の請求も利害関係者であれば有料で可能。

費用は少額です。

相続人が遺言書を目にする機会が得られる、

公正証書遺言はこの点でも確実な方法と言えるでしょう。

Searching for notarized testament

If a testament is hand written, it does not necessarily mean that the successor will see this. It is possible that nobody finds it, or only a few of the successor knows about it. There is also a chance of loss. Notarized testament may be created without telling anybody, however after the inheritance begins it can be searched at a notary public’s office (only after it begins). Any testaments created after 1989 can be searched. If the successor is requesting it, ID and papers proving that they are the successor must be turned in with their seal. The process is very easy, and the search of the directory itself is free. If you are in any relations with the matter, seeing and requesting the transcript can be done with not so much cost. If you feel unsure and want to check the testament with your own eyes, notarized testament is a good way.
